Family First!

I am a husband and a father and I absolutely love every minute of it!  My wife, Tina, and I started the company 10 years ago with excellence in mind.  She worked beside me in the beginning years providing Handyman and small remodel projects throughout the local community.  

Today we enjoy our family time that includes outdoor activities, surfing, baking, music, art, and dancing with our two beautiful daughters.  

Background

I grew up on the Oregon coast enjoying the beach, surfing, skim boarding and boogie boarding.  In a household that was almost literally a Zoo, we had 30 pets at any given time.  I enjoyed several entry level jobs in restaurants and hotels before getting my first construction job at 18.  As the company Grunt, i learned the value of hard work and being part of a team.  

Experience

I soon found an opportunity to learn a wide variety of skills in the Apartment Maintenance industry.  11 Years of property maintenance work proved to be a solid foundation for a handyman career.  PMS Started as a Preventive Maintenance company but the concept was short lived as most homeowners often just waited for things to break.  We spent the better part of 9 years doing house flips and small remodels before jumping into the membership program.  We realized that people were paying ridiculous amounts of money for simple tasks performed by on call techs from big corporations.  We decided to aim for a lower cost option, from a low overhead, local business that would provide a more personalized service on a monthly basis.  This saved customers hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars per year!  

We are proud of what we've become!  The future is bright as we develop the company to be franchised instead of expanded on a corporate level.  This keeps costs down with individual handyman companies around the country instead of developing a huge company with fleets of trucks and prices that were no longer affordable to homeowners.
